everything was very good, had a really lovely stay at absolutely great value. the staff was helpful & amiable. we stayed in a newly decorated superior room with a funny decorated high ceiling, delicious breakfast and double bed. the hotel had indeed a marvellous and amazing location to the center of catania. there was fud bottega sicula nearby to grab something to eat. we really enjoyed being here.

This property is in a particularly good location, close to the tourist attractions and-of course-trattorias. The staff is amiable and amicable. The double room is recently refurbished and bright.

It is friendly place to stay that is primarily because of friendly and caring staff. Its location is great and lovely short walk to all the main shops are, Magione del Re in Catania and the centre of Catania. 1 km away there is Fud Bottega sicula, serving quick meals.

Everything was really good, including amicable staff and favourable location to nearby sights a couple of good restaurants nearby. Stayed there for new year and had a such wonderful experience, so I would happily go back again...

This hotel is a hidden gem! the location is perfect - very near the centre and close to most places of interest. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. And thirdly, the rooms were tastefully decorated with a funny and unique high ceiling that added character. We loved the attention to detail! The breakfast every morning was also a delight, with a range of traditional products to choose from. All in all, this hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money, service, basic amenities, and rooms for couples with double beds.

Unsafe area with heavy locks on doors, poor lighting, and graffiti and rubbish on the street. Front desk attendant didn't speak English and the constant noise of a compressor/pump/whistling throughout the night.

magione del re in catania was a delightful surprise. the luxurious interior, comfy bed, and beautiful ceiling were exceptional. the staff was helpful and professional, making check-in/out a breeze. the location was convenient, with easy access to the city center and nearby restaurants.

I had a great stay at this hotel! its location is superb. It's just a short walk away from Via Etnea, a lively shopping street with plenty of restaurants. This made it really convenient for me to explore the city and try out different trattorias. Secondly, the staff was amazing. They provided excellent service and were very attentive to my needs. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, perfect for a couple like me. I especially loved the high ceiling that was decorated in a fun and unique way. On top of all this, the breakfast included traditional products, which was a delightful start to my day.
